ePSXe 1.90 Crashes trying to load anything in Win 7

Hello, I encountered issues with my previous emulator so I decided to switch to ePSXe 1.90 but when I try to load the disc drive, an ISO or even just the bios it's opens the window then immediately windows says "ePSXe.exe has stopped working" . I have tried various different options on each of the different plugins and even tried a different GPU plugin. GPU plugins tried: PeteOpenGL2, PeteDSD DX6. Sound plugins: default, PeopsDSound. CD plugins: Default, CDRPeops.
