Steam Controller Support?

I'm trying to get ePSXe 1.9.25 to work with my new Steam Controller, with no success.
I simply set my controller to "Gamepad" mode, which means it emulates a standard Xbox 360 controller, so it should work, yet doesn't.

I'm also using ICE for Steam, if that makes a difference.

What should I do to get this controller working for ePSXe?

is it possible to add those in future releases? 'cause i can't get the controller rumble to work on dinput, even with mori's force feedback driver. With Lilypad on PCSX2 for example it works perfecly. I'm using a DS3 recognised as a X360 controller with SCP DS3 Service. Right now i'm using 1.9.25 version.

EPSEX crashes in init GPU

Dear all

When i installed the epsex 1.9 for the first time it was working after puting bios and plugin, then i accedently delet it, now when i install it from same source it gives below error


epsex crashes and stop responding before starting the game even in logs its stuck in "init GPU"

please suggest what should i do i have tried all other versions and even all other emulators but same issue.......................

Hello!

First time asking a question here, but searching for answers hasn't been working. The goal is to play Final Fantasy 7 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. They are both PS1 disks, not .iso files. I have ePSXe v 1.9.25, with the right BIOS (dumped from my old PS1).

Whenever I try to start up the games, all I get is a black screen with a gray box in the upper-right corner. The box has what looks like a red light in the middle, and the words "Analogue Off". This happens regardless of...

EPSXE Controller config help

I've set up DS4 on my laptop but I can't map buttons on the EPSXE.

When i press a button to map it, it reverts back to J1_UNK1 (that's for every button, and L1/R1 etc.)

The ps4 controller works on other emulators like VGBA and SNES9X.

Firstly thank you for ePSXe is largely excellent. But.

PSX games ran between 15 and 30 frames per second on an actual PlayStation.

Why is that games (especially audio) glitch badly under 60fps on ePSXe?

I cant get epsxe to run on linux mint 17.3

I have no video and I get this error when I try to run an iso

ePSXe 2.00 third party Input plugin losing functionality after using 'esc' and 'continue'.

I use 3rd party input plugins to remove large deadzones ePSXe have by default.
I can play racing or shooters perfectly fine after I use SSSPSX Pad or LilyPad and remove deadzones, analog steering is responsive and everything is well.

After I exit ePSXe with esc and then resume game, deadzones return and I have to restart emulator to play without them again.
I am not sure whether ePSXe falls back to default input plugin or is it just loses settings, no idea.

It also can be observed easily with...

GPU Pec Plugin & Pec.dll

Howzit.

Please assist me with a problem I have been experiencing ever since ePsxe has been updated to version 2.00.

The Problem:
I have always used the GPUPEC plugin since EPSXE version 1.7.0 It always worked flawlessly.
Then EPSXE has been updated to version 2.00, now all of a sudden, the plugin doesn't appear in the drop down list of video plugins anymore, so I cannot select it, and cannot use it anymore. The PEC emulation cheater program has been re-downloaded, re-installed, and the plugin...

Hi guys,

Using ePSXe202-1

Have read some previous threads but can't get the answer to my problem.When I select Pete's open GL2 GPU core2.0.0 I get these well documented messages "missing render - texture extension" & "no pixel format available" and then it crashes - I can get it to work with 4 of the other plugins but was really wanting to use this one for the options it has.
My Laptop is running Windows 10 & has the following specs :

ePSXe Legend of Dragoon black screen my sollution

OK so I have seen a few threads about the Legend of Dragoon Black Screen
problems linked to the Save State function mostly. I played the game for
almost 15 hours before it happened to me & I did not want to loose all
those hours of gameplay lol, especially since I saved up 16,000 gold
before I got to Lohan where I encountered my first Black Screen bug.
The Screen turned Black entering various buildings mostly the shops.

I have used emulators for years for most of the systems & I have used...

Hi,

Bug report on this game (latest epsx native plugins for the cdrom):
Music in this game don't works. (start first seconds then hangs, or nothings)

Hi all.
I post a message here because I do not find where to post it.

So, I download epsxe for linux, into 32&64bits, and they do not work.

So, this some commands who I launch in my terminal, to show the problem

as the title says, discovered through the vibration test in the options menu of Metal Gear Solid, version 2.0.2, at least i can switch to Lilypad but a fix would be appreciated.

doesn't seem to work at all.. tried several different games, tried digital, analog, dual shock....controller and win 10 is fine cause hikari pad is working


***EDIT***

a new wrinkle.. switched to software mode and it started working, switched back to hardware and bam...locked up tight with the sound of the moment in a 1 second loop over and over.. ctrl-alt-del didn't work.. had to reset the machine


windows 10 pro (64it) and yes it is legal, had win 7 pro before
Ati Radeon R7 265, latest...
